I will try what you have stated above. Supposed to rain all week, so it will be a good test period. As for the kind of Nissan I have. Its a 1973 Datsun 240. It have a 1981 280zxt FI and ignition harness modded to run the z31 ECCS and MAF. I now am running a z32 MAF with the Nistune. Only thing stock...

Will not run if it is or has been raining
I am having a problem. If it is raining or had rained during the day, my car will start like its fine, and then the blinking lights on the ECU just stop and it will not idle, becomes really hard to rev, and has a strong gas smell. If I let it die, it will not restart. Now if I let it sit for a hour ...

before I posted I took the chip out and re installed it, then I got lucky and was able to reburn the tune. I went to get a video of it tonight and it is working fine. So I guess the chip was loose or a bad burn. BTW, I dont have the stock chip. This ecu is one I bought off Jason (RedZ31) this was th...

NIStune ecu resetting like a machine gun
Ever since Friday, when I turn the key to the on position, I can here my fuel pump relay resetting very quickly to where it sounds like a machine gun. So I unplugged it and looked at the z31 ecu lights inside and they are doing the same thing. Played with the harness to see if it itself was shorting...

So after hours of reading this forum, I think I narrowed it down to an error in my math for the injector multiplier. I changed that and went for a drive around the block and it ran fine. Tested the load on boost and got it sideways no problem at 6 psi with not cut outs. So I guess I will get it plat...

Boost problem, cuts out under heavy load
If I accelerate normal it will run fine. Soon as I nail it, it gets into boost, car dies, tach goes to 0 for a second, and then it will come back to life, does it one more time, and then pull to red line like nothing happened. Is this a NIStune related problem, or a car problem? On a factory eccs wi...
