Re: Small screen support for Application.

I had the same problem. Unfortunately the hide emulator / WB2 button is not an option for me as I have 2x WB's I want/need to log. If we had an option to just hide the emulator buttons this would help. Mine is a Lenovo 8" tablet running Windows 10 Pro. I was able to fix the problem by changing ...

Re: AEM UEGO setup

Matt I have this setup with an FTDI based USB-serial converter and in hyperterminal all is OK. However when I connect to this wideband in Nistune, it shows the value at the point of connection and then freezes. If you continually disconnect and reconnect some times it will connect and not freeze, bu...

Re: Wideband AEM Failsafe 30-4900 connection

Well I spent most of this afternoon trying to figure out why this wasn't working. Then I did some research on com0com and the AEM WBFS Bridge software.... So it turns out you do not use the DLP for this method. You do use the USB connection from the AEM gauge. For anyone else wanting to do this, the...

Re: Wideband AEM Failsafe 30-4900 connection

Hi Matt, Yeah I've since realised I need the DLP A/D converter for the failsafe gauge so ordered this from Digikey. Today I successfully wired up and tested my AEM UEGO gauge via a DB9 serial port and FTDI converter. This gauge is for the right bank (Z32). Now I just need to understand how to wire u...

Re: Wideband AEM Failsafe 30-4900 connection

So next question, which wires to connect to which pins on the DB9 connector.

White is AFR - should this go to pin 2 same as the UEGO?
Brown is Ground - should this go to pin 5 same as the UEGO?
Yellow is Boost - which pin should this go to?

Thanks.

Re: Wideband AEM Failsafe 30-4900 connection

Does this use the USB connection from the failsafe gauge or the analog output wires connected via serial port to a FTDI USB/Serial converter? Editing this post again as the posts that follow are wrong. Yes this does use the USB connection from the failsafe gauge. The downside is this method will onl...

Re: Z32: Fan Deactivate Temp Delay setting

OK thanks Matt. I'll just set Fan Deactivate Temp Delay to max 255 and see how it goes.

I'm running a water pump to power a mist spray for the front of the radiator to try and keep temps below 100 on the track (yes I've tried just about everything else lol).

Re: Connecting without spare USB

Hi Matt, are you running a powered USB hub?

I thought of that but assumed it probably wouldn't work and would need to be powered.

Do you remember what brand/model hub you're running?

Connecting without spare USB

Is there anyway to connect an AEM wideband without a spare USB? I currently have an 8" Lenovo tablet mounted in the car for logging but it only has a single USB3 port. So I don't have a spare USB port to connect the AEM wideband. I have both the UEGO and the Failsafe (one on either bank). Is th...

Z32: Fan Deactivate Temp Delay setting

I'm using the Fan Control / Fan Speed Switch 1 setting to turn on a pump at 95degs by enabling Full Blow 95-99 and Full Blow 100+. This is working well to turn on the pump at 95degs and it turns off again once temp drops below 95degs. Ideally though I want the fan to stay on until the temp drops to ...
