Re: Launch control
OK now I think I understand the problem. I thought that REv Limt 1 was the cut and Rev limt 2 was where it kicked back in. So I had #1 set to 6500 and #2 at 6450. I guess if I reset #1 at a point lower than #2 it should be OK. The Safety limiter is set to the max of 12750...What is this for and is t...

Re: Launch control
Can you explain what you mean by soft and hard limiter. I used to have a rev limiter that would "bounce" when I hit it and keep going. Now when it hits the limiter the car stalls for lack of a better term until the revs drop then it kicks back in. I much prefer the bounce rev limiter. What...

Re: Launch control update
Are those all similar? Once those are done is it easy to do others...like the VG30?

Re: Idle problem
Matt, I was still having a few issues, but they appear to be related to adding to much fuel the cells in the lower TP and RPM range. I did this early on to try to get the A/F ratio up and get the car to run while it warmed up. Once I change the conditional limits and took the idle maps out of play i...

Re: Idle problem
Did another pull this morning. Start coolanttemp was again 17* C. This time I changed the Constant tables to Bernardd's suggestions. Warmup timing RPM Max was set to 0 Warmup timing temp Max was set to-50* the lowest setting Warmup timing temp Min was set to 205, again the maximum Warmup timing temp...

Re: Idle problem
Just finished running the car again. I changed the conditional settings to the following: Warmup timing RPM Max to 2000 Warmup timing RPM Min was not available Warmup timing Temp Max to 30 Warmup timing Temp Min to 20 Warmup timing TP Max to 35 Ran the same bin file as before. Used the test version ...

Re: Idle problem
Matt, I have attached the last log I did as well as the tune I used to do it. I am also attaching the bin file that I have been using for a number of years. Both run the engine fine once you are on the track. It is just the idle that I am trying to fix. The bin used with the log starts with 8-29-201...

Re: Idle problem
OK, I have lowered the constant warmup tables to the point they would not allow the map to be in play. They were at the highest levels. This didn't have any effect on the problem. I just did another pull with the 02 sensor unplugged (narrow band) Wide band was running. Still had no effect on the pro...

Re: Idle problem
Its OK to change all values at once, just play with them and check results. By the way, I think that your ecu contains also other mentioned tables, but they are not defined in the address file, otherwise it doesnt have much sense...But try to play with avialable values, with little luck you can sol...

Re: Idle problem
Hi Russ. Mentioned tables (Warmup timing TP max it is currently set at 40 Warmup timing RPM max is currently set at 4000 Warmup timing temp max. is currently set at 205) are conditions tables that I mentioned before. By these conditions is using another table usually called warmup timing table, but...

Re: Idle problem
Hi Russ. Have you tried to change the warmup timing max? This constant is found just below the injector latency change version 0.12.11. I can't remember which way to adjust it but I changed those values when I ran my engine with that ecu. Bernardd, it's been a long time since we last "talked&q...
