Re: Start tuning SR20DET
Hi. I need to dig out my old topic :) I have lately some problem with TPS and idle. Main problem is that, when I setup my TPS at idle with 0.44V, there is no TPS Idle indicator lighting up. It lights up when I set TPS below 0.3V. This is sth new for me, because it does not match to Nissan manual. Is...

Re: Start tuning SR20DET
What do you mean by just the beginning? Setting idle is just begenning. Then You have to setup cruising part of maps. And then You can make real power. Other than K, latency, lowering top right area of timing map, and flatten fuel maps what areas did you have to adjust to get yours running right af...

Re: Start tuning SR20DET
th regards to tuning with larger cams like you have is there anything specific you needed to initially do to get AFR's near 14.7 at idle? Do I still try to keep near stock K's after MAFS and injector sizing or is there something else I should do too with bigger cams? Just trying to get it to idle w...

Re: Start tuning SR20DET
I have question about idle and low afr. Here on log You can see that on idle I got very rich afr (~12.7). As You can see timing is fluctuating between 7-15 degs, TP is 11. idle_low_afr.png Idle is correct (idle table below): target_idle.png I assume that problem is TPmin table (table below), because...

Re: Start tuning SR20DET
Due to current situation (slipping clutch), I have made some logging in cruise mode ( 4/5th gear, around 2,5-3k revs, wideband O2 sensor, disabled std O2, trims reset to 0%). This is how look AFR avarage trace for 2 log sessions (about 4-5 min of constant ride to my work): trace_avg_afr_1.png trace_...

Re: Start tuning SR20DET
This is how it looks for me when 1B hits about 3k rev and stay to cutoff.
Max TP on 3rd gear was 94 aroung 5.5k. But my clach started to slip from now.

Re: Start tuning SR20DET
Extra question to my timing map:
Is 15' from 4.7k to cutoff (7.6k) is correct for my setup? When I had 16' I have started to hear knock.

Re: Start tuning SR20DET
I have made some on-road tunning and have attached 2 logs, both are made on 3rd gear.
Boost is about 1.0B from 3k to 7k. I had to stop tunning due to cluch started to slip

Maybe your CAS is broken? 110 of timing is very strange.the timing spikes up to 110 degrees and stalls the car,
