Re: Tuned on 95 octane at 19psi but using 92 octane fuel?

Thanks for the help, ya i would like to stick to the tune as much as possible and will try to monitor my knock somehow and pull off some timing to be on the safe side. But i have considered just reverting back to stock ecu tune and adjust for injectors and maf when i run 92 octane fuel and do a roug...

Tuned on 95 octane at 19psi but using 92 octane fuel?

I recently acquired a nistune ecu thats tuned for z32 maf, 555 cc injectors and t28 turbo for s14 sr20det. Im running the exact setup on my s14 but around the area there is only 92 octane fuel. The tune was on 95 octane at 19 psi from what the previous owner of the ecu told me and said that the tune...

from what i know s14 ecu's tend to not be able to highlight the o2 flags which is weird. If it does highlight it highlights the entire map.

yeah my afr's after warm up are around 14.5-15.1 idle and cruising but there are times when my afrs reach 17s on idle if the cars been sitting. It may just be my wideband sensor. As for 02 sensor flags s14 ecu's dont really have it which is weird. im gonna hook up my secondary o2 sensor to see if it...

DTC EGR Function code and O2 sensor code

The ecu is throwing out the "DTC_EGR Function Code" and "DTC_Read_Headed 02 Sensor" Im not too suprised that i threw the egr code as i have plugged it but for some reason it keeps popping up when i clear it. Could i possibly just uncheck the feedback where it says EGR System? As ...

I just replaced my old tps which were giving me bad readings with another one so i know for sure the tps i have now is good. As far as the pins it is the 6 pins. So i think your right about the warming up thing, i haven't checked if the tps idle switch is turned on yet because i dont have a laptop h...

Yeah the tps idle comes on from time to time but most of the time i dont see the tps idle on... not sure what the cause of this is. I did notice that when i run the car for awhile the tps idle wont come on but when i turn off the car and let the car sit for a bit, then start it again the fuel cut oc...

rich afr's under decleration?

Just got my KA-T to run just fine however under deceleration my afr's are dipping into 11s and 12s. Any idea on how to perform a fuel cut when decelerating? From what i hear nissans are supposed to cut the fuel automatically. ALso my speed sensor is not reading in nistune consult gauges could this b...

The tps idle turned on without the engine running when the tps was unbolted from the throttle body but the voltage seems way out of spec at .06 volts where it should be reading in nistune around .40 volts when the tps was still on the throttle body. I unbolted the tps sensor and used a multimeter to...

370cc latency value

Im wondering what the latency value is for sr20 370cc injectors are. Right now latency is set at 720 with my previous injectors which were 275cc(i didnt touch the latency at all after the change from 275cc to 370cc). Should i add more to the latency since im running bigger injectors? It does seem li...

No i haven't yet, so just unbolt the tps from the TB and then reinsert it? I have never tampered with the tps before.
