Holy crap! I'm not much on fishing, but that may make my dad want to go with us
Is that a simi normal fish, or some kind of freak show state record type of fish? Salt water bass? I see the river in the background, but I'm sure it's brackish...
Nice catch nonetheless!

Re: So, I think we're moving to Australia!
That's great to hear! Thanks for chiming in with some more good info :P I've been around ( heavy industrial) instrumentation in small doses... Mainly the installation of them and landing the leads into PLC's. Nothing major... When I was younger, I started a 5 year apprenticeship with the U.S. electr...

Re: So, I think we're moving to Australia!
Thanks again! We will be in contact with them this week. I called the AUS Ambassador's office here in the States, but no one was in the office Friday afternoon... There is SO much information, and SO many different ways to go about this... It's a little daunting. Through more research, (and my wife ...

Re: So, I think we're moving to Australia!
Even internationally recognised qualifiications are sometimes not enough to get you the same job here. Sometimes extra training is required before practicing the same profession here (for example medical degrees overseas may qualify for 3 of 7 years of a medical degree here) A computing network deg...

Re: So, I think we're moving to Australia!
I have a degree in Computer Networking, this isnt a electrician or electrical trade that i read into the question,I think matts at your skills level. If your qualification is from known university it should be easy sailing. I have a two year (Associate's) degree in computer networking, but never ha...

Re: So, I think we're moving to Australia!
^^Thanks for the wake-up call! I guess I should focus on the most important stuff first... I'm 28 and have 6 years experience with electrical at different levels and applications. Hi and low voltage AC but, more recently, AC/DC automated systems using servo motors [plus extensive mechanical] ...

Re: So, I think we're moving to Australia!
Thanks for the link! There appears to be no shortage of Skylines! I'm debating between a S14, R32 and R33. If I go S14, then most of my s13 parts will cross over since I have a 2871r .86, S14 front and rear subframes, suspension arms, 1.5 LSD, coilovers, brakes, Z32 uprights w/ sphericals, ect.. BUT...

Re: So, I think we're moving to Australia!
I know you guys can import cars from Japan, but, I've put a lot of time in building mine and want to take it with me when the time comes. I got a shipping quote from FL, USA to Sydney is $3205 insured. I've found that you have to have a special license to drive a LHD car, but how hard would it be to...

Re: So, I think we're moving to Australia!
Thanks for the link and the info! My wife and I are really excited about the [likely] move. :D How many road course tracks are there in the South to SE part of Australia? Mallala looks very fun and also like they stay busy year round, which is a very good thing; but are there any other tracks with-i...

So, I think we're moving to Australia!
As everyone probably knows, the US is going to hell in a hand basket! So, we're (my Gypsy wife, our two sons, and myself) trying to find a better place to raise our family and have a better quality of life. My top 3 requirements of a new home land are: 1: Quality of life. School systems, health care...

Re: New 555cc inj's new z32 maf = flooding the cylenders
Yep, that's exactly the inj mult I got when I did the adjustments... but for some reason they didn't work right... I just took a "shot in the dark" and moved the multiplier to 7718, and it's idling at 14.6-.8 right now :D . I know i'll have to fine tune a lot, but at least its running now!...

New 555cc inj's new z32 maf = flooding the cylenders
kinda out of practise here so be easy on me... I just installed new injectors and a z32 maf. The first time I made the changes, I went from 370cc to 555's, something went wrong b/c the maps were maxed out again. I uninstalled the rom pacs and reinstalled the latest versions. The problem... Its dumpi...

Re: Pulling TONS of timing out to avoid det... is this too m
I'd suspect false knock. Honestly read about knock lights etc.. they don't really work that well and give alot of false positives. Are you running 12.1:1 AFR when you're knocking? Try running 11.5. Have you pulled your plug after you supposedly knock to see if you are indeed knocking? The detonatio...

the KA24de is not a turbo engine in stock form, being so it has a higher CR than the SR. So with my KA having stock 9.5:1 pistons, I'm not sure how close the detonation threshold will be between the two... But it may give me a better idea of how to map my IGN so I'll defiantly take a look at it. as ...
