Re: Data log ignition timing is not matching cell values
ok, thanks for the reply. i was out on the highway testing and i did a knock copy of my timming map, and set most of my cells to 26deg. while i'm crusing the map matches the logger perfectly, but as soon as i get into the upper right cells, the timming dips down to 12deg. Heres the log ( in stream m...

Re: Data log ignition timing is not matching cell values
Well i did more testing and i`m coming to the conclution that the cell values will never match exacly. Im about 12-14 deg different from my tables to my logger.
Can someone confirm that the bottom line is, i should be trusing my logger...
thanks

Data log ignition timing is not matching cell values
Hey, i'm trying to figure out where this 9 Deg is coming from at WOT. When i play back the log, the data logger is saying 9 deg, while my timming map and knock timming map are no where near that. I have also noticed that when i'm driving the the fuel map, knock fuel map, timming map, and knock timmi...

KA24DE Temp. Sensor
I noticed that my temperature reading was jumping around from -15 to 80 in my consult display. I disconnected the red temp sensor on the manifold and the temp reading stoped jumping and stayed at 80 (where it should be). Does anyone know which temp sensor Nistune is taking its reading from? I though...

Improper temperature feedback
Today was the first time using the latest version of nistune with my KA24det. As the engine came up to temp, the temperature readings on my consult display creeped upto 80 degree C, while my autometer temp sensor was telling me 125 degree F. (80 D.C.=176 D.F.) Is nistune displaying the coolent temp?...

Re: DLP A/D Converter Connection Issue
Yesterday i edited the CSV file used for wideband lookup. First i disconnected the senor and took a voltage measurement of the default value 14.7 Then i used the formula y=mx+b to find my (x,y,) intercept and plot my new calibration curve. I entered my new values into the CSV file (which were pretty...

Re: DLP A/D Converter Connection Issue
So has anyone figured out this problem, and have their computer matching the exact reading of their AEM wideband?

RPM recover
Hey guys, i've been having some trouble with my RPM at idle, and while driving. If I'm idling, then rev my engine hard, as the RPMs come down, it falls to about 300, then stalls out. i have to feather the gas to keep it running, then it will return to where is likes to be (1000 RPM is my case). it d...

Ok Matt, my injector time is 2ms at 1000rpm. i have noticed that my cold start neutral secondart vs. coolant temp enrichment is set to 200 @ -40, 160 @ 0, and 200 @ 110 C. The curve isnt even on the chart its so high. Also, my temp enrichment is set to 166 @ -40. again the curve is off the chart. is...

From the start, I have been taking short runs with the car for some tuning under boost. My idle was allways rich and i could never get it to lean out, but when i was under load my afrs were acceptable. I decided to take a 1 hour ride out to the city to break the motor in, seat the rings, ect. Upon m...

yes i did convert the injectors first. but like i said, i can put my latency and multiplier to zero and that will just start to bring my afr`s up into the 11`s. Are you saything that if i were to convert the maf first, then the injectors, it could improperly change my ttp max and min? i just feel li...

Ka24de idling rich
hey guys, im using 1000cc injectors, with a q45 maf. my new calculated injection multiplier is 18079 and my latency is 720. My afr's are bottomed out at 10 on my gauge during idle. The only way to bring it up to 11.1-3 is to put my latency down to 0 and multiplier down low, but that doesnt seem righ...
