I wish to add a VQ definition to the software, data provided
This is for the 2001.5 Nissan Pathfinder R50 chassis MAFS. Half year denotes the engine change from the 3.3 distributor engine to the well known 3.5 liter VQ35DE engine. This is a 3 inch tube design. I was able to dump the rom from the vehicle with nisprog and a 409.1 cable. Then I began using WinOL...

Re: cannot stop going pig rich
As promised I have found the culprit to the problem with the engine. The new Tial blow off valve was opening under light throttle. I removed it's vacuum source and throttled it again, the issue completely is gone. We can proceed to proper tuning now after a stronger spring is ordered for the blow of...

Re: cannot stop going pig rich
I think I am onto something here. I started scoping as many signals as possible and found no issues. Except with the coil packs. There is a negative spike I do not like at all. I relocated the ignitor chip to the inside of the car and found it to be hot. I will check out the wires for them, diagnose...

cannot stop going pig rich
I have simply fitted a z32 mafs, 555 injectors at 4 bar flowing at 670cc, lowered the tp min and just cant avoid going rich while sitting still and giving it throttle, this is such a noob mistake for me and I'm not sure what I've done wrong. The coil pack earth is stout. Multiple grounds are fresh w...

Auto Tuner Bug
As the Autotune does it's work and reshapes the MAFs scale for me, I increase the "TPS Decel Cut" using arrow keys. If I surpass 999 mV and expect 1000 mV, it instead places a comma in the number, like this 1,000 which renders the function useless. I can get it to work again by removing th...

A Nistune story
I made friends with this guy who has been drifting 240sx since his abandonment of S10 trucks. I showed him my sr20det and introduced him to what it can do in stock form over a ka24de. He was hooked. Then wanted more. He built his engine and slapped on some nismo 550cc injectors which flowed to 670cc...

Re: AEM UEGO working in teraterm but not Nistune
Here is the log as requested with several attempts at connecting to the AEM Uego.
I will have to work on getting that crash log for the Arduino dlp a/d device. I get a black screen and instant reboot when I hit connect for it.

AEM UEGO working in teraterm but not Nistune
As the title states, I can get the wide band working in Tera Term (outputs as quick as the in car gauge) but not Nistune. I even got it to show the afr in Arduino serial monitor. I can see the proper afr in Nistune for a split second and then it times out. I tried using the Arduino sketch for an UNO...

s14 sr20det engine stability
I've dealt with the s13 sr20det variant with great success in the past and feel I have it down pat. This is my first experience with the variable cam variant and we're simply trying to get it stable in factory form. This is a 69F01 ecu. The wiring harness is a WSP and it is in great shape besides th...

Re: Rich idle after 10 to 15 seconds at 14.7
I want to revisit this and clear up what my findings are. Idle short trim at operating temp will 0 out on a factory setup for example, then rise to 28% on the lean side, which pushes the wideband to 13.8 We aren't OBD2 with the s13 redtop and blacktop so this may not be addressable. I did play aroun...

Re: Voltage drops
yes the 4 pin relay of a 30 amp nature will suit things fine. wire number 30 straight to the battery with an inline fuse rated for the original circuit value will be fine. given your battery is relocated to the trunk you may wire 30 to your battery distribution block in the engine bay.

feature pack knock protection
Since the knock fuel and timing maps are removed with feature packs what engine protection does the feature pack provide in case of knock and how will I know its activated? I attempted to search for this in the training notes. Type 3 board in sr20det in mind.

Voltage drops
So your S chassis is getting older by the day and is at least 20 years old today. Example 240sx, and not to exclude 180sx, 200sx, Silvia, and more. Your chassis harness is not what it used to be. Your key switch may be very tired and loose. These are my findings. Alternator puts out 14.2 volts. Send...

NTProgCE on Windows 10
Recently received the v7 programmer and struggled for a bit to get it to work because the install drivers operation wasn't clear but I figured it out. There is no mention of Windows 10 support for NTProgCE that I have found. I believe it is working now because of a recent change on the FTDI VCP webs...
