Re: Ultra high injector latency - too high

Yep, you're both correct, I adjusted to 750ms, car didn't run until i fiddled with the K-Constant to idle around 14.7, and now I'm getting a much more uniform A/F ratio from idle to light cruise. I'm running E85, so now I'm running far too lean before the engine is warmed up - will tend to that this...

Ultra high injector latency - too high

Hey - absolute beginner here with a mess around project / toy I am playing with. Z31 1984, turbo, gt35 turbo, exhaust, gtr 444cc injectors, walbro fuel pump. After these mods I adjusted the K value using the injector resizer to something like k=341, however, the only way to get the thing to idle nic...

Re: Z31 02 Sensor issues

I will have to get back to you on this, as I now have something wrong with my charging system - as the voltage warning light on the dash is staying on when the car has been shut off and flattening my battery, replaced the alternator, and it hasn't fixed it ... maybe time for an auto-elec :(

Re: Z31 02 Sensor issues

Okay, tried that, got a steady 0.960v with the engine running - however it has had the 440cc injector swap, but it's running fairly rich due to only the rough injector re-sizing applied. I figured it would be running rich and not being able to get itself even close to 14.7, however, i figured it wou...

Z31 02 Sensor issues

A question regarding the 02 sensor voltage (or lack thereof). The 02 values in nistune have always read zero for me, so I did some digging to find out why. I figured out I had the incorrect EFI loom installed on my car which is has an 86T ECU. The loom was set up for a zirconium sensor (as ecu pin 1...

Z31 Nistune from 87-89 ECU into 84-87

I have a nistuned California Z31 ECU but my car is the older Z31, and thus I need to swap the Nistune board out and install it in the earlier ECU.

Is this a straight swap? or will the board need a reflash/firmware change to work in the older ECU?

put the multimeter on pin 24 of the ECU, and it's reading approx 0.55V while the car is almost at temp and idling.

so, guessing the o2 reading address is wrong? any hints on finding the correct one?

hi matt, i also have the zero volt o2 sensor problem.

did the ram trace and that address is indeed staying at zero in all conditions.

(it's the z31 87-89 auto ECU)

anything else to try?
