Info on knock tables, knock conditions
Hi guys, I have recently re-installed my engine (Z32 vg30dett), and something has gone skew with my knock sensor, giving a code 34 constantly. I know for a fact that I am not knocking. My question is around what the ECU does with the code 34. I can see it accessing knock fuel and timing maps, but do...

Re: AFR Variations between left and right banks
Thanks gents, I am not expecting the injectors to be flowing differently as they were recently flowed and balanced.
IACV I have suspected a bit dicky so something to def check.

AFR Variations between left and right banks
Hi All, I recently installed a second AEM wideband, so I now have 1 in each bank. Driving around a bit on the weekend, I noticed quite large variations between the 2, both at idle, and under very very light throttle. Drivers side goes lean at idle (16-18:1) where as the pass side is 13/14:1. At slig...

I'll have to check it out! I have never installed a board, both were done by 2 different shops.

ECU issue - CEL and Eng Cont fuse - Z32
Hi all (and Matt), I have recently had an issue with my Wife's Z32. Out of nowhere, it blew the Eng Cont fuse and CEL light came on. I had tried all the usual suspects such as shorts in wiring to o2's etc etc without luck. On the weekend just gone I managed to borrow a stock ECU which I swapped in a...

Re: Issues with AFR's and Idle on z32
Made 535.9rwhp @ 22psi on Thursday.
Was increasing boost further when we encountered spark blow out, so need to upgrade ignition now. Didn't even get to start bringing timing back in![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
Still having idle issues tho
No matter what I do I can't get SFT consistantly under 12% and LFT under 8%.

Re: Issues with AFR's and Idle on z32
Ok. So I uninstalled the older version I was using and installed the latest. Haven't had an issue with o2's since. What I have found, is that generally idle afr's are stable and load afr's are functioning correctly (after much fiddling). Sometimes after load coming back to idle, afr's go strange. Sl...

Re: Issues with AFR's and Idle on z32
So an update on this... Had a mate come round and he loaded up a brand new bin from his own laptop, which was then modded, and the car was much more stable. On a side note, my o2's were stuffed so the feedback was turned off. Since then I installed new o2's and fired it up. O2's were reading as expe...

Issues with AFR's and Idle on z32
Hi Team, I have recently done an injector upgrade on my vg30, from nismo 555's to jecs 1000s. I was using the JECS in my last z32 and they worked well. I am having issues after the install of these injectors in my new zed however. I did the injector resize and the engine idled like crap. Adjusting t...
