Re: Feature Pack updates + Information thread
Could some unused output possibly be reprogrammed to operate a closed loop boost control for sayyyyy someone with a 4-port boost control solenoid, to allow duty/hz adjustments. perhaps instead of using the Fuel Temp sender wire for launch control- if it could be used for PWM output, or sent to a sec...

Re: confirm settings / checked off
i think having a checkbox or a checkmark is too easy to press to unconfirm. the left bar should have a right-click context menu that has "Tuned/Untuned" click settings, or "Stable/Unstable"... or something like that. And it should just modify the colour to maybe dark green with w...

Re: Incorrect Coolant Head Temperature Sensor output
So is this available in the downloads/support section of the nistune main site, or do is there another release coming up with more (if any) bug fixes that will include this fix? I can't remember what the release schedule for nistune is like. do you usually publish new fixes to the site immediately a...

Incorrect Coolant Head Temperature Sensor output
I just installed the latests nistune on my tuning laptop. Seems as though even with Imperial Fahrenheit selected in the configuration options, my Coolant Temp sensor gauge on the gauge display window will not show anything but Celsius. I know it's showing Celsius because the temps are pretty close t...

Re: Code 21 is killing me
hmmm. serious? that's where the tach signal comes from for the Digital models? well then. we may be onto something here. i used a logic probe and got pulsation on 1 and 120 degree signal wires at the ecu, but it could be intermittent. I just got another CAS plug so I'll try that out. I switched dist...

Re: Code 21 is killing me
Thanks for the replies, fellas. I recently redid the entire ground cable from the battery to the starter bolt using 4ga "ground wire" from the autoparts store. I redid some grounds on the engine harness, but only the terminals where they bolt to the chassis or engine. I did not actually re...

Re: Code 21 is killing me
21 = Ignition signal issue Mismatched coil feedback against what was expected when spark was produced There is a feedback wire used to determine ignition problems by the ECU. During/after the coil has been charged, discharged if the feedback line doesnt match accordingly then this error is raised C...

Code 21 is killing me
checked everything within the FSM. replaced all ignition components twice. only thing I haven't replaced was the subharness from the distributor/CAS to the main harness- but I was getting 1 degree and 120 degree pulses on my o-scope. also getting pulses on pin #3 and #5 - which come directly from th...

Re: can i use only a lc1 o2 sensor and no stock stock o2
So should I put it where the stock o2 sensor was or place it further back. Its a z31. Does the lc1 instructions show how to wire up to the stock narrowband? I have not received mine in the mail yet to read it. the stock location is said to be too close to the turbo and will kill it early due to its...

Re: New Download/Upload Image Buttons
TortoiseSVN requires the use of another software package to make it work?

gotcha. glad to see you keep a tight CVS to avoid software "f-ups"Matt wrote:it has been added in the code, but because there are many other changes to the current build and it needs to be tested, it will not be available for download until it has gone through testing

Re: New Download/Upload Image Buttons
this has been added in tonight. i've also added a check that if all maps are blank then no upload to ECU will be required - to stop silly mistakes  When you say "added in tonight" are you referring to a nightly downloadable build, or are you replacing the latest version of the softw...

New Download/Upload Image Buttons
Matt, Here are the buttons I said I would draw up for the image upload/download pop-up window. 90x84 I think they're actually self explanitory now, so the function does not need to be printed on the button. Here we have "send from PC" indicated by the red arrow, signifying to "burn&qu...
