Re: Target AFR values in fuel map?
As PL suggested, have you properly setup your injectors and setup the K-value? If so you should not need to add so much fuel to the map to get the readings you want. Could also be 1 or 2 cylinders running lean due to bad/clogged injector(s) which means to get a good average reading of all 4 you need...

Re: wot load on idle?
Yup, as above, it's reading 0.78v in the first pic and 2.8v in the 2nd pic, so the MAF is seeing a larger airflow than there actually is which it determines as high load on the engine. It's probably bogging down due to the ECU injecting more fuel than it should be due to thinking there is more air e...

Z32 MAFs
I am on the look out for a Z32 MAF and have been offered one at a good price from a 1991 Z32 N/A, after a bit of searching some people are saying these are the same as the Twin Turbo MAFs. Can anyone 100% confirm if these are the same? We need a MAF capable of over 400 BHP and compatible with NIStun...

Re: A couple of issues :: v. 10.12
What cable are you using? I had LOTS of dropping out issues on 1 car when it was running with an ECUtalk cable, switched to a PLMS cable and been fine since. Was quite strange as the ECUtalk one was perfect on all cars I mapped except this one. Been using the PLMS one with zero issues since, and the...

Re: so, heres a novel idea!!!
It's not that they can't do e-mail tuning, it's just that you can't properly map a car via e-mail tuning. Personally the most I will do for someone over e-mail is provide them with a base map so they can safely drive their car to a tuner. I would never want to map car over e-mail.

Re: New to Nistune & issues!
As Matt said, that is not a resistor that has burnt out, that is a driver circuit which is usually used to run the injectors or coils.

Re: Daughterboard compatibility?
How do you order from them? GRID accept PayPal, they have no order info on their site. Also, does anyone know where to get R33 GTS-t boards or R34 GT-R board from Japan?
Sorry to hi-jack the thread.

Re: NIStune 0.10.12 bug
Hi! The problem has a simple solution. 1. Go to the VQ Maps folder. 2. Look for a file N13_CA18DE_VQ_Map 3. Rename this file to N13_CA18DE_VQ_Map.bin I'm writing this from memory, as far as I remember the VQ-Map-File had no or the wrong extension. That solved it! You were right, the file had no ext...

Re: NIStune 0.10.12 bug
Unticking the box only stops it happening on startup, but if I manually open a ROM file I still get the error. From the error above it is not do to with looking for a ROM that does not exist, it is looking for a VQ Map file in the installation folder that it can not find for some reason. It's a clea...

Re: KS4 sensor location and tapping signal wire question
The KS-4 signal wire is shielded and you should not be picking up any electrical interference. Mine only picked up electrical interference after it got damaged. Accidentally closed the bonnet and the wire got trapped in the hinge.
