AFR Questions
I recently started doing a little more bits and peices to the engine, namely put it in another car. Anyways also copied the maps between ECU's without any issue, Since it was like for like the base map i ran with the build, allows AFR's to be around 12:1 at WOT, and ran around 14.2:1 on light/motorw...

Bad Idle after Injector Change
I have built a brand new SR20VEN1 build, I have now ran in the engine using a Map from the old engine, and increased the fuelling throughout the rev range to bring the AFR's between 12-13:1. The map ran 333cc Side Feed Injectors. and I had the engine running good although it did drink the fuel, but ...
Re: RPM Input
Thanks Matt, Would a ADC converter convert the values to a number so it can be displayed using an Arduino?Matt wrote:Yes it is a voltage from the ECU. 5V pulse which frequency increases as RPMs increase
RPM Input
I am doing a small project to build a RPM Window Switch using Arduino, I have searched online and can not find the answer, but basically, I am looking to get details on how to Measure the RPM from the ECU. I am unsure whether it uses voltages or digital signals or what, but basically I would like th...

Re: Timing on SR20VE with SR16VE.N1 Head
Thanks for the response guys, What I think I will do, is change the Crank Pulley to the Stock one and then time it up with the timing light, At least then I know it will be correct, It is a bit of doing a rain dance but I think it will certainly give me an accurate way of dealing with it. I can then...

Timing on SR20VE with SR16VE.N1 Head
I have recently rebuild a new SR20VE.N1 engine, with the N1 head ect, I am running the 1N410 ECU with it with Nistune, I currently already have a base map on it for the VE engine as the car was mapped on another SR20VE so it was just a case of increasing a little fuel at some points to prevent leani...
