Re: Resize Injectors -> Idle /Startup ..
When speaking about the use of WARMUP_TIMING table, you forgot to speak about the initial temp (ambient temp when starting the engine). It still makes the conditions more strict: if TempInitial>15°C and TempInitial<35°C and Temp>30°C and Temp<55°C and TP<44 and rpm<2600 ==> WARMUP_TIMING table is u...

About 13.8v
In that case what would be a good starting point for my injector latency?

According to this denso injectors (Nismo/HKS etc) are 640us at 14v
Anyone able to confirm?

Re:
use double that inside nistune 1420uS Next release I'm fixing this up so it reports half of what it currently does (after checking it out yesterday) Can you confirm this? I have installed my nismo 550s today and used 710ms, before I had deatchwerks 740cc ones that were set to 1100us which according...

Re: O2 feedback at idle and general O2 questions
Is that the short term and long term afr learn vales you are talking about? If so that might be my issue, I will check them

Re: O2 feedback at idle and general O2 questions
It might still be trimming but something is keeping it rich, eg if you assist tpmin like I did it essentially breaks the o2 learn

Re: O2 feedback at idle and general O2 questions
How does the O2 tuning work currently, just adjust the pulsewidth?

Re: O2 feedback at idle and general O2 questions
So you've modified the ROM to scale your K factor and some how add timing to the main map? That is pretty impressive, with ethanol I thought you wouldn't add extra timing at cruise/idle etc, have you used a seperate trim table to get this working? I think you should post up what you have done and a ...

Re: O2 feedback at idle and general O2 questions
With a simple small band o2 sensor? Sounds a bit dodgy, I guess if you set simple upper and lower bounds of the main max k and you knew what k was needed to achieve the right afr.
What about ignition timing though?

Re: O2 feedback at idle and general O2 questions
Happy New Year .. So obviously the engine is running too lean at idle and elevated rpm. Could it be that there is a small vacuum leak? Is your K factor spot on? Have you played with the Volt Latency Change / latency parameter? What happens if you disable O2 sensing all together? Also does your engi...

Re: O2 feedback at idle and general O2 questions
So if you have to raise TTPMIN to get away from your popping you're covering up some other issue with your engine.. Yes you are absolutely right and that is essentially what I am doing, basically I've taken your advice and putting 3s in the TPMIN map as that is what it truely should be if the engin...

Re: O2 feedback at idle and general O2 questions
Check the logs I posted, I don't have a wideband to check actual afrs but the O2 seems to need to register always rich for idle to not pop, not sure why, I have smoke tested the intake and have no air leaks, though when I did have air leaks the idle was fine with 440cc GTR injectors so I think the i...

Re: O2 feedback at idle and general O2 questions
If I set tpmin at 2 the car will stall, it pops like crazy at anything less than 8 and only idles nice if I raise it to 10, injectors are 740cc and ecu is r32 rb20det running rb25
