Its the factory ECU code (which is same for Type3/4 boards) rather than the board itself. There must be a limitation to the rpm indexing used hence the 8012 limit An, ok, so implementation of either ecu would result in the inability to tune past 8012.5 rpm, correct? So is the 8012 tuning limit only for the type 3 boards? Do the type 4 boards have the same limitation?

Just wondering what the diffrence is, and the 5 car limit; the limit doesn't include how many ADR(converted bin) files you view/burn, correct? Its actually the 5 diffrent ECU's its tuned...a little help?
