No because the TP and RPM check are hard coded, and the fuel cut method used is completely inappropriate for launch control, etc...

Ideally you want an ignition cut limiter activated by a clutch pedal switch.

sounds like a zero Kph rev limiter No, not really. It is a safety limit that comes in under a specific set of conditions as described above. 0kph speed is only one of those conditions, high TP is another. any way of getting this on all the cars ?? or is it just the r32 Each ecu is different. Why wo...

No mystery. Engine under heavy load for a certain time with 0kph speed will do a fuel cut. Speed = 0kph TP > 64 some sort of time factor is involved and something else I can't remember right now. Shouldn't have any effect on most cars. It can be a problem with engine conversions when the speed signa...

HKS used to make an electronic device which (from memory) they called a vane pressure converter or VPC.
It would take a map sensor and air temp sensor input and output an equivalent MAF signal.

To the best of my knowledge they are discontinued so you may try to find one 2nd hand somewhere.

Never had problems tuning ca18det with nistune.

Maybe upload your tune so we can at least have a look at what you might have done?

I get around 240-250rwkw on standard engine, standard turbos at 17psi.

Twin 2871r on standard engine made 298rwkw on 14psi.

I can see a built engine with big cams and twin 2871r doing 400rwkw easy with around 20psi or so.

Nistune won't limit the power, that's for sure.

I haven't seen one obviously break from too much pressure with up to 25psi of boost. I have always been skeptical of this as they are not designed to take pressure. But then i was thinking recently that they are designed to work under reasonably strong vacuum, and surely that would fall under the sa...

would be nice to see inlet air temp readings same as ambient. i.e sensor left hanging on machine. Yeah true but i think that a 10 deg temp difference is about 1% correction on the dyno dynamics. Off the top of my head that is, but i should check to make sure. You can notice that it was also done at...
