Have had breif opportunities to play with it also on the S14/S15 DET. It works quite well - not only in controlling part throttle output but in affecting boost pressures above the natural regulated pressure of the wastegate actuator. A map sensor input into nistune, and a boost auto tuner similar to...

Only the S14L/S15 SR20DET have boost control thats worth messing with. The Z32 and others have a system where a solenoid allows vacuum (from just infront of turbo inducer) to evacuate/lower the pressure of the air incident with the turbo wastegate actuator. While this is open the wastegate is very h...

Hey - 1:1 as per factory. It's flow range is greater.
Base pressure setting range is 200-800 kpa - i set mine to factory spec (~38 psi with no bias from the manifold for ca18det)
Rising rate are evil. - added tuning complexity for no reason with most EFI cars.
Sounds like a regulation problem to me!

Moates Ostrich 2.0
After updating the emulators with the current firmware, the emulators fail to work with any tuning software i have - apart from EM utility. With EM utility upload and download is working fine - the emulators seem to be in full working order. With Nistune & TunerPro RT connection errors occur - d...

On my ca18det i use a sard regulator - it's suitable for higher pressure fuel pumps. On the standard fuel pump it made a vibrating noise - i found out this was due to the flow back to the tank was achieved with a much smaller diapram opening. With a high flow pump it works great - the valve floats a...
