yeah i had the same problem with my skyline, cas problem with the gear inside the cam and vacuum hose for me. reran the vacuum hoses and replaced the exhaust cam and fixed

sorry to hijack the thread but just a suggestion/question is it possible to map the engine noise/knock per rpm and load point to accurately point to where the engine is knocking?

afm offsets?

in the address files theres an offset number.

do you need to change that number when changing afm? and then what number do you change it too? to the number in the address file of the car that afm came off or is there a relevant table to look up?

i made the fb_switch match the rb30e cause that value wasnt in the address file and the same with the void blast off time and i turned off the injection latency in the address, because it gives a value of zero, and it is now the same as the rb30e and works by the looks of it. #Void blast-off time IG...

nistune crashes when i open the TP Load Limit window.
maybe because its a single value?

using HR31 RB20det eccs address file with the new address file edit in the lastest nistune version

rev limit 1 shows up as 0 rpm?! and the speed limit is only 160 instead 180 or is that normal? ive gone past 160km/h before when it was standard also the injector latency is 0 with this address edit***: sorry false alarm i entered the rev limit in the address file wrong. can you check if this addres...

will using a serial to usb adapter work for the type 1 boards? my laptop throws the usb port quite often, it says theres a power surge to the port even when theres nothing in it.
i might try a PCMICA usb hub instead if that wont work

using the hr31 eccs rb20det adr file
auto box was ticked for tp scales etc
changing injector sizes box and change the maf window as well
and i wasn't using the operations-constants cause there is only injection multiplier

crashing when changing constants

just a heads up that for me nistune often crashes and wants to send an error report when i exit the constants and maf change window. whether ive changed the values or not. im not sure whats going on.

hi

i'm an going to give tuning in cams a go

i was thinking that adjusting the k constant would be a start but maybe also the point and length of injection as well but not 100% sure

does anyone have experience in this? or suggestions?
