Injector latency value's
Hi Matt, I've finally gone for a more manly turbo a GT2871R with a .64 housing and bigger injectors, the injectors are brand new items from ASNU 600cc but they don't have latency times for them. they have sent me a pdf that it can apparently be work out from but I don't understand it. can you or any...

Re: Couple of questions
Thanks matt, so the figures I posted sound ok?
the ecu is a 39F05 CA18DET in an S13 if that makes any difference.
Cheers
Richard

Re: Couple of questions
Hi matt, found what was coursing the issue. it was running horrible lean and getting worse at idle as it warmed up. also found that my lambda sensor had died and popped the fuse with it. I've got hold of another lambda (second hand) but on the 02 gauge what sort of figures should I be seaing as at t...

Couple of questions
Hi Matt, following on from this thread http://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?t=2027 I've now had the board reprogrammed for the correct euro ecu but now I've got a couple of issues all idle related. It will start and idle low and rough about 500-600 rpm and pick up once warm to 800rpm but rough whe...

Re: CA18DET RS13 revs raise when in gear but statinary
Hi Matt, thanks for that, along with this symptom which only started happening after I drove home from an event last night, today I connected my laptop this evening and the car has also started running on the correct maps (screenshop attached) and it now has a really lumpy idle. I haven't been able ...

CA18DET RS13 revs raise when in gear but statinary
weird one, I pulled on to my driveway and opened the garage door got back in the car and put it in gear and noticed that the revs raise by 400-500 rpm take it out of gear again and the revs dropped again. I thought that was very odd. so tried putting it into each gear and it did the same thing, put ...

Re: Type1 CA18DET running on Knock maps all the time
Thanks for the replies guy's.
Yeah I'm going down the having the board properly programmed route first might have to wait a week to be able to sort it but as soon as It's done and tried I'll report back.

Re: Type1 CA18DET running on Knock maps all the time
i'm talking to my supplier about this. he was going to swap my board to test.but have now asked in if he can reflash the firmware instead to try. in the consult the timing on the gauge is showing 10 and I have my cas set to 14 degrees, and my timing map is very retarded so it does sound like from wh...

Re: Type1 CA18DET running on Knock maps all the time
Hi Matt, One thing I have noticed is that the software seams to be seeing it as a "23710-36F05" when connect on consult, and my ECU is a UK europe 23710-39F05 could this be part of my problem? as the 23710-36f05 is a jap non cat ecu. this shows up in the image I attached on the first page....

Re: Type1 CA18DET running on Knock maps all the time
Hi Matt,
Only just checked back, fault with the board do you mean the nistune board or the ECU itself?
if it is the nistune you mean what could I do about it?
also looking at your image I see you have some DTC codes showing, I don't get any at all is that normal?
Cheers

Re: Type1 CA18DET running on Knock maps all the time
Hi Matt, Have you had any luck? Anyway I got 294.8Bhp :D so I'm not too fussed about the map issue as much now, the only slight problem I'm having at the moment is on light throttle between 900~2000 rpm is a flutter in the revs when I pull away. On light throttle the lambda is showing between 16~19 ...
