low throttle angle rpm drops WAY too fast, small turbo car
So I boosted my car and went with a nistune setup all at once. I have a 95 240sx with a ka-t and a t25 sr turbo. The turbo is clearly too small for the engine but it's what i have. The car builds boost remarkably fast, and I could be seeing full boost by 1400rpm. I tend to build boost at very low th...

Re: Can some one give me a general run down on building a vq map
I would think you could take an existing maf inline with the maf in question, and datalog voltages from both at the same time, then comparatively build at least a good section of the vq map. If you have a maf that is going to run out of steam, at least that builds the section up until it does? I won...

Re: My nistune is do to expire????????????
Matt on this topic, I have never let Nistune expire... but will it completely disable or just nag once it expires? If you are one day hit by a bus or fall off an unfortunately cliff (unfortunate for you), is there any reason for us to believe that our software will just stop working and all owners s...

That might be helpful for those that struggle with unsigned drivers and a win 7 64 machine.

autotune not detecting decel fuel cut, 0's out fuel cells??
I thought I would give autotune a try last night with a laptop hooked up just street driving. Does autotune have a minimum tps voltage we can set somewhere to kick in, or does it sense decel fuel conditions? I was maintaining a speed with on and off throttle but after a few minutes the car ran terri...

Re: question in regard to s14 VE map (ka*t)
I wanted to bump an old thread with a good question. I have been trying to tune via VE table and it does not seem to really make any difference? Do we 100% realize exactly how the ve trim table functions? Are there instances where it is disregarded as a function, such as with the o2 turned off/ unpl...

I've been accused of doing worse :-p
What is nistune programmed in? maybe there are existing free code snippets out there you could pillage online? If I get some free time next wacky idea I get I could see if there is any existing code supporting the idea or closely adaptive...

Re: Datalogging Motorola MPX4250
I do prefer 0psi to read 0psi, I was under the impression that it would erroneously report by reading the white paper. I have purchased one but not yet used it. Although I suppose it also matters if you purchased the absolute sensor vs the regular one? I was thinking the sensor ranging down to 0kpa...

Re: Datalogging Motorola MPX4250
actually, to be even more accurate... reading from 0 psi as a start would not be correct. the sensor starts at 0 kpa which is -14.5037738 psi. Wouldn't it be more accurate to start at 200,-14.504 and finish at 4900,36.259? 0 psi atmospheric is after all, 100 kpa...

Re: NIStune video tutorial
I'm not sure I care as much about a video presentation of nistune as much as I might care for a chm help file with up to date descriptions when the software is updated, or a tooltips type blurb with tables (i.e. a small single line below the window title for crank enrich that says "fuel used du...

undo button not functional?
I have performed operations on my map I wished to undo, but the undo button appears grayed out all the time? Should this be functional if I want to revert to a cells saved values, last entered value, etc?

keyboard shortcut/button for "copy compared selected value "
Another one of my ideas tonight, I seem to have a string of them. prioritize dismiss or however, I have no expectation. I did however think when comparing multiple maps I wanted to copy a few values over, but I did not want to have to launch multiple steps to copy an entire selection, why not have a...

Re: 0.10.12 logplayer graphs out of sync with data
for what it's worth, I do not experience this to the same degree. What I noticed was my log player "appears" about 1 mouse click off ish. For example, if I was ACTUALLY at 2000rpm with the player line position, hit right on the keyboard 1 time and it should display as 2500rpm but instead d...
