Re: Feature Pack updates + Information thread
Hope this is the right location for this question, if not feel free to nuke this. Will the Continental 13577 379 sensor work, with the Nistune flex fuel board, if we have a tighter install space for the sensor? Will the Continental 13577 429 sensor work if we have a very tight insta....err, Z32? (zi...

Re: Nistune Flex Fuel Board, gauge option
Matt, Thank you for the technical insight. I'll have to rethink a method to determine when it's acceptable to turn the boost up. General question (directed at all) Has anyone built a comparator circuit for a 0-5v sensor signal? I'm thinking I could use this to identify when the E% is above a thresho...

Nistune Flex Fuel Board, gauge option
Is it possible to wire an ethanol content gauge to the 0-5v line off the converter boards to enable an ethanol % display? Background: I'm intrigued by this Zeitronix display; Hacker/Tweaker Gauge , for mounting in the clock location on a Z32 application. The H/T E% gauge page stats that is is 'only'...

Re: Correcting rich condition after injector upgrade
Starting with KCONST: 288 TS14V: 750 Experimenting with SAFC at zero KCONST: 206 TS14V: 680 I experimented with a few other combos 720,173 & 570, 206 but there is a dance that the two do in order for everything to work right especially when the electric fan is running, returning to 0% throttle ...

Re: Correcting rich condition after injector upgrade
TTPmin can be a problem for rich idling, but if you can get it to idle near stoich, then this is most likely not your issue. TTPmax would cause a lean condition up top IF there was an issue with the ecu calculating a higher TP than this limit. CrankEnrich is for just cranking. (Though this is off th...

Re: Correcting rich condition after injector upgrade
Two items that stick out for me, take what you will from them. 1. JECS 550cc? Nismo 555cc or JECS that have been modified? 2. Have you considered removing all SAFC adjustments and strictly use it as a dual maf solution? Nistune can do everything the SAFC can except for the maf addition. This way the...
Knockspy
I guess this goes in BS, but feel free to move it around. I'm not affiliated with nor own the following. I'm posting it here as a mater of information. I'm not sure where Nistune's Z32 knock monitoring development is in relation to this product. http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/v...

Re: How does Nistune know which wideband is LHS or RHS ?
I would assume it's just labeling. The operator will specify which sensor is labeled LH or RH based on their preference. Yes, the Z32 cross flow intake does throw a wrench into the labeling convention. However, I've always labeled things by where they physically are. LHS is the sensor physically on ...

Re: Z32 Gear map way off
the coefficent only determines at what point the switch to the high gear maps takes place, it's not used for trimming or anything like that.. for a MT twinturbo with stock diff and coefficient at #2F (decimal: 47), the high gear map is accessed as soon as 4th gear is engaged. I thought the gear map...

Re: No knock count anymore and no wideband input trace values
Upgraded to latest version before heading out to the car last night & had a problem with WB input trace not showing up as well. Although I only had about 30 min to play with it. Will investigate more this weekend.

Couple of Q's. Are you running a dual maf/dual filter intake or single maf/single intake? Dual intakes seem more prone to air being forced into the maf resulting in erratic maf readings. A common remedy is to place some sort of partial block on the filter to prevent air from directly hitting the fil...

DLP IO8 Signal smoothing?
Running a DLP IO8 and have 3 channels for logging: Boost Pressure, Fuel Pressure and AFR. The boost and Fuel pressures are tied into existing sensors (HKS EVC III and Greddy gauge) which use a 0-5v (or less) signal. For the basis of my question, I'm looking at the two pressure readings. When I datal...
