For the info of others.
Problem was a pretty easy fix, broken wire inside one of the connectors at the TPS.

TPS voltage stuck at 5.10V
Hi guys Having an issue with my car, the TPS readout is staying pegged at 5.10V (ie WOT) ive tried adjusting the TPS, even unplugged the ECU still reads 5.10V. I'm thinking it could be an issue with the ECU itself. Last mod I did was to install a HPX MAF, which went fine. The car wont go into idle c...

Re: Car wont idle/run under ~2000rpm, other problems?
O2 sensor was dud, winning! (For once not a wiring cock up) I had only ticked the TP box for the tune, I left the half and double values boxes unticked (as we discussed). The right hand TP column on the Ign and Fuel maps is one value less than a stock R32 map. I looked at the RB20DET vs RB30ET for f...

Re: Car wont idle/run under ~2000rpm, other problems?
Tune is below, I also lowered the K a bit, seemed to make it run better and stopped blowing black smoke. Ah ok, I'll redo the tune with the other boxes unticked, I've yet to change the fuel and timing maps to be relative to an RB30ET stock tune. As we discussed the other day, the pipe is 70mm, so I'...

Car wont idle/run under ~2000rpm, other problems?
Hi everyone, I'm having some problems getting my car to a running state to drive it to the tuner. I'll start from the start. Car in question is an S13 180SX running an RB30ET (SOHC) running off an R32 RB20DET ECU. Mods: RB30ET T04E, 10PSI 450cc Bosch 968 injectors (http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/bos...

Re: SR20 Tuning Tips/ Questions
Righto so I didn't realise that there was a section on the website with articles on basic engine tuning and also how to tune with nistune. After reading those I feel a bit more confident with what I'm doing. I've basically figured out AFRs, pretty well due the the guides matching speeddemon and a fe...

SR20 Tuning Tips/ Questions
Hi Guys, I'm getting a friend who's familiar with Nistune software to help me tune my 180SX, only problem is he's more of RB30 guy, and doesn't know much about SR20s. My setup: KLS GT2871, SS Manifold, external 38mm WG, 3" Exhaust Will run around 15-18psi, whatever the motor is comfortable with...

Re: Running a VLT Tune on an NA computer
Sorry for the late reply, haven't been doing much with the VL lately as I've been flat out on my 180. I haven't had a chance to plug the ECU into a computer yet, but as I am running Turbo injectors, I assume it is running the Turbo base file as it idles perfectly, much better than it did with the N/...

Running a VLT Tune on an NA computer
Hi guys quick question, I have a VL which has been converted to turbo, running a lowmount T04E at 10psi and a front mount, with Turbo injectors and an NA ECU. It runs well but the bigger injectors tend to run the motor really rich, and it wastes alot of fuel. Ive installed a Nistune, and for now, I ...
