Re: speed sensor spike - but not conected
ok, i took a snap shot of the log with the speed sensor spiking.
consult view shows the neutral switch flashing on at exactly the same time? (again, neither are connected, removed from loom)

Re: speed sensor spike - but not conected
well i installed another loom to see if that would take care of some of these odd signals, but it didnt. the attached log is probably one of the best, it shows a few good pulls, and the odd signal issue. @ 1:30.4 the air con, nuetral, start, and tps indicators all flash on, but none are connected? t...

Re: MAF voltage in log playback issue
sorry to bring this up again, just had a chance to record a couple of runs.
now this one i saved as a "good run" and when i glanced at the boost gauge it was around 18psi.
i would have thought that the maf would have to be reading 7 volts, maxed out. it is just a vl maf in a 3" pipe.

Re: MAF voltage in log playback issue
ah thats good. checked the tick box option and offset is disabled, so yes, approaching 5volts under that load makes sense to me. thanks

Re: MAF voltage in log playback issue
so do my values look ok?
or should my value under that much load already be up over 5v (with offset)?

Re: MAF voltage in log playback issue
so to make it go back to offsetting as required, i would just open up a base vl file, copy maf translation, then reopen my file and paste it in? it will then see a std vl translation and apply offset as necessary? at idle, maf(in nistune) is currently reading 2 volts is that where is should be for v...

Re: Increased rev limit versus maps and scalers
you could always set your scalers so you can adjust values to your new rev limit?

Re: Knock count reading, but not connected
ok, so although the ecu is reading something, nothing is actually being done with the input. ill just ignore it then.

Knock count reading, but not connected
hi,
another ghost reading!
my ecu doesn't have a knock board as it isn't turbo (but it thinks it is)
i am getting erroneous readings for knock count.
can i disable it in nistune?

Re: speed sensor spike - but not conected
thats exactly where it is terminated. about 10mm out of ecu with tape on it.
wondering if i should ground it?

wrong ecu selected?
does it matter what ecu nistune detects?
my ecu is a non turbo rb30, and i was using the cr31 adr.
when conencted, it said they didnt match and the actual ecu was vlt??
so i went with it and it works, but should i be worried and somehow override it?

attached shows the speed sensor spike to 400k's, and battery drop to 0. there is also another spot in log that you can see speed read 4 k's and a slight dip in battery.
Thing is, speed sensor is not connected. it is trimmed at plug with heat shrink around it.
should i ground it???

Hey Matt
Did you get any further with this tune?
I now have a set of gtr injectors and was looking for a tune to reference.
