Hi Matt,
Sorry to post in the wrong area. Feel free to move it if required.
I am a little confused. You say not to do it as it could damage the ECU but to try a different resistor ?
Is there somewhere else i should take the rpm signal ?

Tacho output
Hi everyone. I have an issue with not 100% Nistune related. I've fitted an Apexi AVC-R to allow me to control boost via rpm. I am having some issues with the tacho connection. When I connect the tacho wire to the ecu I lose my tacho on the dash and the it seems also the tps signal. The car runs terr...

Pretty sure your maf or wiring is stuffed.
If the engine is off there is no air flow so voltage should be minimal.
Google says around 0.2V

Turbo upgrade from stock
Hi everyone, hopefully this isn't too much of a basic question for these forums. I have an adm S15 with the stock turbo. Normal mods with increased boost and my road tune to suit. The tune is ok for my current setup but I am about to install a td05-18g turbo. My concern is where abouts to start with...

Re: Basic questions
I thought I would update this thread a little bit. I had a chance to spend a little time on the tune today. I only had time to do some changes at home then go test in the car. Focussing on the rich on boost areas I reduced the cell values down by a small amount. I am waiting on some knock sensing ge...

Re: Basic questions
Hi PL, Thanks for all the info. Your posts are very interesting and I've learnt a lot from reading through them. Might have to to fly you to Perth for some tuition ! I haven't started actually tuning, just familiarising myself with the software. I logged a 3rd gear pull on the weekend to put into Vi...

Re: Basic questions
Thanks Matt, I upgraded my version of Nistune and it looks to be highlighting the correct map now. With regards to the knock warning panel, I obviously wasnt paying attention and it was just the o2 selected under the warnings. I see that the knock feature is not available in Nistune. I need to get m...

Basic questions
Hi everyone, I recently had Nistune installed and started to find my way around the software. I have some pretty basic questions I hope someone can help me with. The car is a 2001 Nissan 200sx S15. FMIC, pod, 040 fuel pump, blitz bov plumbed back and boost at 12psi. Pretty tame, standard setup. From...
