Re: Super lean issue
Hmm do you think the injectors would be my best bet, if they're getting the signal from the ecu but just not opening how they should? Do you have any thoughts? And i did switch to my stock ecu and it runs rich, like 12 to 13ish AFR while cruising(i have no o2 sensor if that causes that) but under fu...

Re: Super lean issue
More info- so i tested out my original 86T ecu and it works fine for the most part so far. So I'm assuming something is wrong with my nistuned ecu and not the cae, i have no idea what to look into for fixing it.

Re: Super lean issue
Yeah that was first thought, I checked my fuel pressure and it's 37 idle and up around 40 revving, but I'm not sure what it does while driving.

Super lean issue
So yesterday when I went to drive my car in the morning it would barely move, it would just run full lean and die. I got in from work the night before and it had been driving perfect, as it has been for awhile. I haven't touched a thing before it started this issue. I tried loading several different...

Re: stock z31 blow through maf
Oh ok that makes sense, is t just oil and stuff from the turbo and stuff. Do you just routinely take it out and spray it down with maf cleaner?

stock z31 blow through maf
So I've been researching blow through mafs a bit and have a couple questions. Has anyone run a stock maf in blow through configuration? I've read some people did and it ran great. But I've also read its super hard to tune since the air densities and temps are ao far off from stock configuration due ...

Re: z31 o2 sensor voltages
Yeah it's all over the place. I have an AEM wideband so I'm not too sure if it can be recalibrated, I know it says all over that it never needs to be, but i'll need to keep searching to see if there is a way. I'm not sure if you meant that or do one of the tests to make sure its in normal operating ...

Re: z31 o2 sensor voltages
Oh and just for the heck of it, I'll attach my last data log incase someone is really feeling helpful haha. I did a 3rd and 4th gear pull then caught up to traffic and was cruising around 55-60ish until I end the datalog. And I know my speed doesn't show, my speed sensor to the ecu must be out. I'm ...

Re: z31 o2 sensor voltages
Yep, I have an 86 non turbo ecu, so both turbo and non turbo are the titania. Ok good to know, must be a shot o2 sensor then. Though it seems to run much more normal ratios cruising since I turned off o2 sensing in nistune. But cruising and under boost has AFRs kind of all over the place. After I le...

Re: aem to vga port?
I know it's for video, but figured it would be worth asking just incase. It would be much cheaper if so. But yes, I just got the serial to usb cable and it's working correctly. Thanks!

aem to vga port?
I've got an aem wideband but my computer doesn't have a serial port, so i was wondering if there is a way to hook it up to my vga port, or is it totally different? Will i just need to get a serial to usb connection or something?

z31 o2 sensor voltages
Hello, so I just got Nistune in my 86T. The car runs but too rich under light load, it's in the 12 AFR range on my wideband while cruising with light load. I took a datalog and noticed that while the engine is still warming up, my o2 sensor voltage jumps back and forth between 0.05 and and 2.55V til...
