Awesome Raddy,
let me give it a shot at trying to increase the timing.
What do you guys use to detect knock anyway ? I don't have a dyno in the area sadly.

Re: CA18DET deceleration issues
Hi Matt and Raddy, Thanks for the tip. I have tried to do a fuel recovery up the rpm range at 1700 ish. Does help abit as the dip isn't so bad. However it still doesn't solve the light wheel flywheel issue. Cracking the throttle stopper higher got things better as the car idled at 1300-1400 and it d...

Re: CA18DET deceleration issues
Hi Matt thanks for the suggestion.
What should I do with the TP min? Changing it too much will affect the way the load is processed to my knowledge.

Re: CA18DET deceleration issues
Seems like the rpm dip is related to the light flywheel from SPEC.
Anyone has any tips on how to set it to "catch" the motor before it dips to 400-500 rpm and up again ?
I have tried to raise fuel recovery and adjust target idle to 900 rpm.

Re: CA18DET deceleration issues
Hey matt, will get to it. I am lacking the db9 male to connect the innovate to it. Louis, k values and Injector latency same as yours. Cruises and accelerates well. Only on deceleration, it's rough. Tapping the pedal when decelerating results in a slight jerk. Clutching in when decelerating (zero ga...

CA18DET deceleration issues
Hi guys, I have a stock CA18DET with a GTX2863 and 550cc R35 injectors. ECU is Car idles fine and drives fine except when off throttle. AFRs are good in boost and on cruise. Upon releasing the gas pedal, there will be a pulling sensation as the engine rpm drops and AFR runs into rich 10s before goin...

Re: Nistune on Apple Macbook
Hi Matt,
thanks for the quick reply.
Planning on getting a mac due to its editing capabilities and battery life span.
Will take the plunge and try it out and give a feedback here.
If anyone has done it, do give me a heads up.

Re: unstable, jerky, 10 afr idle + stalling.
Did you try to calibrate your TPS ? Then follow the FSM to set your target idle by removing the plugs from your IAVC and FICD. Last time I had that issue, it was due to the engine coolant temperature sensor. It was dead. Results in the engine having no idea what setting to use and dump fuel in rando...

Re: Tuned ROM images here!
Has any guys tried out a tune on
- stock 180sx CA18DET engine
- T28BB turbo
- 370cc stock injectors
- R35 afm
- the usual FMIC, open pod filters and 3 inch invidia exhaust system.
Future mods will be R35 GTR Injectors on top of the existing mods.

Re: Base Map section
Thanks Matt!
That should help me out with the running of the engine with a new R35 afm whilst on stock map.

Re: Base Map section
Hi guys, sorry to jump on an old thread but just wondering, stock and base maps are not the same thing right?
I was thinking of loading my nistune with a stock map to run on 1st with a new set of R35 afm.
