Remember these are uncorrected values there are a plethora of other tables which are multiplying off this table to get the final
values.

do not use those values at face value.

See pic from R34 service manual
If not fitted the boost sensor limit counters need adjusting to stop the hesitation.

Re: Faulty knock detection and disabled flag

I would not trust the software or engine reporting on these old ecus regardless.... the wiring in those old things is horrendous and forever giving erroneous data (especially due to noise). I would look at buying a set of knock ears, plex or G4 knock block to do it properly. doing 3 or 4 cars a day ...

best swapping out to something else anyway, the q45 is a pain to work with on small engines and small inj pulsewidths.

Re: feature pack knock protection

it still retards timing on the type 4 boards, in R34 S15 etc so id assume its the same on type 3. I honestly haven't experienced any issues with knock on any of the type 3 cars on the dyno for ages so ive had no need to check for phantom retarding (the later r34 and s15 are renown for phantom retard...

Re: LS2/LS7 coils and DWELL Time

By Manipulating those two dwell tables (dwell time and dwell duty) you will be able to set the correct dwell. Ignore ignition 21 (or disable in DTC tables) it will have no effect on anything. this is a car we had endless dramas with oem and splitfires, with new coils and 33 psi we had zero missfires...

Re: R34 Stagea RB25DETNEO With FF plenum

i had a quick look for the logs but as i do so many cars per week (15-25) i pretty much clear my log folder each night.... makes sifting through them quick and easy the next day.

especially nowadays as the trace function is pretty much all i use.

Re: R34 Stagea RB25DETNEO With FF plenum

it only does it up at high rpm the low voltage i can work around. we have your test Air straightner here, i use it to demonstrate what is a good setup to those that dont use them. soon as we swapped to 3" the DTC went away and never re-occurs, re instal 4" bingo false limits and instant AF...

Re: AFR very sensitive to electric load

you must 100% get the maf wired correct.

its uber common for people to jion the 2 earths on a z32, you cannot do this. one is ground one is sensor ground. if you join them it get mega noise up the sensor ground for the ecu.

Re: R34 Stagea RB25DETNEO With FF plenum

yeah the HPX ones are a pain in the ass and cause more issues especially the later ecus, the hpx in a 4inch pipe has such low resolution the ecu continually comes up with MAF errors (internal coding against expected maf v vs rpm maybe?) , if we drop it down to 3inch the errors go away but it hurts p...

the gates are plumbed incorrectly. 100% i have to fix this constantly on GTR that have just had turbos fitted.
