A start and stop box would probably be a good idea, much like datascan. I would think that for the most part one would want to do one test at a time. Combining several tests might produce un wanted results. Only place it might be useful is if the ecu will allow the temporary fuel and ignition change...

I also think it would be great if the Map (table) window could be maximized like the graph. it would make it easier to follow the map trace. I had previously sugested displaying peak values on the consult guages, but if the Rpm and Tp was displayed on the table view perhaps still with a peak feature...

Split log view

Matt im noticing if i use the split log view it displays the same data stream in each of the 4 windows. the item displayed can be changed like TPS or MAF and the units change accordingly like Volts and RPM, but the actual numbers displayed are all the same. Is it finger trouble on my end or a glitch.

Sorry i always had the playback window on top of the Map window, so missed that..
Very nice....

So in order to get a correct log re-play the binary file that was in use during the run would have to be loaded in order to get the maps and map scaling information right?

I just find the peak indication handy for a preliminary run to make sure that i am not maxing things out. like AFM, inj duty cycle and also the max TP tells what the map scaling needs to be in order to make the top end tuneable. If its a car that you are not familliar with then one quick run can giv...

Forgot that the numbers are white,, what about black then as a contrasting colour.

I was comparing with Eric's (DTA) "rom data" map trace software and it switches the cells white for the trace but the background numbering is black.

Log replay display

How difficult would it be to show the map trace window during logger playback and display where in the maps the ecu is reading during playback.
