Licence transfer
Hi, I sold my car and would like to transfer the license to the new owner, I seen this was possible on an older thread.

MAF configuration change
Was having my Car tuned on the dyno and had the maf setting as HPX N1 Low load 500hp, well we maxed it out pretty quickly So went to change this as it is in a 3” pipe on the cold side of the intercooler piping. Switched it to high load and the car runs very poor (I’m guessing because it has thrown e...

Re: Can I wire speed sensor direct to ecu for launch control feature
If I select them all and upload to the ecu the light flashes and launch is active, but cannot deactivate it. So need to uncheck the box and upload again.

Re: Can I wire speed sensor direct to ecu for launch control feature
Nothing coming on in consult view when the wire is earthed,
Yep tried at idle 800ish rpm
I had the launch, flashing, and switched box ticked
It’s strange as it was working, I’m guessing something ok the board it toast...

Re: Can I wire speed sensor direct to ecu for launch control feature
Well somehow I’ve managed to completely break it this time, before to get it working I was earthing then cable just as a test, so today I decided to wire it in properly with a switch. Not sure what’s happened but now when I earth the power steering line I get nothing, checking for the warning light ...

Re: EDM S14a SR20DET>SR20VET conversion
Back into this again, this time my engine I was building with the VE head fitted. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49857794873_97b2204561_w.jpg SR20VET running by John Johnstone , on Flickr I’ve converted it to single solenoid and have the VCT output controlling it, that seems to be working fine....

Re: Can I wire speed sensor direct to ecu for launch control feature
So CEL is flashing, but no limiting? Try setting 1. launch cut limit to say 1500rpm 2. ignition retard = 0 and the retard cut at 1800rpm and then 3. Trigger switch under 1000rpm (CEL flashes, if enabled) 4. Test rev cut 5. Increase rev cut 1500rpm if okay to 2000rpm 6. Check ignition cut over 1800r...

Re: Can I wire speed sensor direct to ecu for launch control feature
looking into this myself tonight and in a very similar situation, i have an s14a and just had the ecu reprogrammed for the feature pack. tonight i tried to get the launch working, i have an aftermarket digital display fitted so no CEL yet, speed is taken from a sensor on the drive shaft. but i set i...

Re: EDM S14a SR20DET>SR20DE conversion
I used the 3" HPXn1 and z32 load, changed the load scaling to 40% as per your you tube video just to try and see if it made any difference, but it was basically the same, dropping into the low 9s on the AFR gauge and choking itself. It runs really well up to half throttle, as daft as it sounds ...

Re: EDM S14a SR20DET>SR20DE conversion
Well the car is on the road now, and is running pretty well considering all i have really done is put the changes into Nistune and let it work it what it needs, only thing i have done is adjust the load scales on the MAF as per the video on youtube when using the HPX maf. Although while it drives go...

Re: EDM S14a SR20DET>SR20DE conversion
Ive replaced the injectors with the std turbo ones, the car is running much better, i pulled the k constant back a bit and have it idling well around 14.5-7 AFR. cant drive the car yet but its a huge step forward for me at least :D . i dont have the TIM on mine yet as i haven't had the feature pack ...

Re: EDM S14a SR20DET>SR20DE conversion
Got the car running at the weekend, I fitted a turbo to the DE, also fitted an HPX maf which has maxed out the k constant I guess because of the injectors and afm combination. Still only have the de injectors I’ll fit the 370cc ones this weekend and see how it goes from there. Just an update as it s...

Re: EDM S14a SR20DET>SR20DE conversion
im going to change the injectors to the 370cc DET ones so the car should start and idle on the SR20DET map yes? then all i'd need to do is adjust the fuelling and timing map to fine tune i guess?

Re: EDM S14a SR20DET>SR20DE conversion
Thanks Matt, yeah I learned the hard way as usual. So what's the best way to do that? Can I select the whole map and copy / paste it or is it cell by cell. Anything else I should look out for while doing this? Sorry for the basic questions , you must get fed up answering the same stuff all the time.
