Re: VH45de Type 3 ecu issue

Some ECUs have an extra 'offset' added to consult output from factory. Unsure why but I had a look at the 1993 address file (yours is 1994) and we have entries: CONSULT_TIMING_OFFSET=45 IDLE_TIMING_MAP_OFFSET=45 Copy the attached ADR file over your current one in the Documents/Nistune/Address folder...

Re: Forum images gone?

These have been recovered now. During the transfer we used FileZilla for FTP and by default it backed up all the files as TXT mode (instead of BIN mode). All looks okay now

That looks promising and a better price. As long as you can get the MAP > volts conversion for it then you should be set

Re: nistune temp warning over 95 C

It depends on the ECU. For later ones like S13 SR20DET onwards it adds some extra enrichment over this temperature (plus fan control etc) but earlier ones don't seem to have any tables which use this setting The warning in the software is hard coded to when coolant temp > 95 degC to warn the operator

Re: Injector resizing reset ?

Apologies for the delay Best bet is to reload the factory file if you haven't done that already Otherwise the factory K = 348 and TIM = 512 and you can then do the resize again Each time you resize, it will adjust K and TIM values. It will also adjust crank enrich each time, if the checkbox to adjus...

It's not lying. The temperature kept on creeping up in the log. Temp curve looks okay

Re: Throttle enrichment and Wall Flow tables

Sorry for the delay on my response also, have been away on vacation and playing catchup. I didn't really see anything apart from idling in that log file. With the overshoot, you can use TTPmax to adjust for TP overshoot as a result of MAF voltage if required With the adjustments to the wall flow tab...

Re: Throttle enrichment and Wall Flow tables

http://nistune.com/docs/Nistune_Mapping_Guide.pdf Refer to page 34 of this for the tables. They are all multiplied together Wall flow accel temp factor This appears to be a pulsewidth that everything else is based on. It obviously varies with temp. Correct. It is the base table used for calculation...

I had to contact the old web provider for a copy of the backup. Got that today in one big archive file, so will have a go at the remainder in the next few days

Re: Nistune on Youtube and Facebook

You can increase the TTP max value above 136 in this case. It just limits injection, so normally the resize injector tool will set the top values to 255 To reduce load, you can lower K constant. This will also in turn reduce fueling. So if you have the Total Injection Multiplier parameter available ...

Attachments were not copied across. I've done that now, so those are working for non image files. Image files are still an issue so looking into that further
