Re: R33 Rb25det S2 launch button set up
From manual: Enable the Launch control tick box in the Feature Control Flags panel. This will provide the ability to use the following Launch Control (LC) parameters in the ECU. So yes you need to have this (Bit 1) ticked, otherwise nothing will work. Just having Bit 2 / 3 only will not do anything,...

Re: Second Part of R33 launch control building boost
The ECU doesn't do negative retard, so set it low (say around 0 BDTC) With RPM limit cut, start low and work your way up until you start getting some boost. Retard only set slightly before the cut as you won't need it after that point. You can only build so much boost up depending on size of the tur...

Re: R33 Rb25det S2 launch button set up
With FP1 firmware, refer page 30 of the feature pack manual https://www.nistune.com/docs/Nistune%20Feature%20Pack.pdf Per the manual, there is a trigger on/off operation So if you currently start with Bit 1 and Bit 3 ticked, then it will flash, and should hit the limit at 4800rpm (or lower) until it...

Re: IACV issue ?
This works, but you are using the 'disable' selection in active tests drop down. Looking at the Active Test specs IACV/FICD-SOLENOID 0x87 VAL=0x00 =OFF (also 01 from test) So this is a disable only option for the drop down selection. Showing in Consult and on meter (pin 4 of Z32) it will change to 0...

That's interesting. The chip shortage has affected a lot of places. We have had to jump hoops to keep our boards and cables in production

I'll check IACV on the bench. Do you have Conzult to test with?

Re: ka24det First Time Tuning /Issues
Yeah that injection multiplier just needs a bit more richening up (see around 14-15.5 AFR) and that should start running better

Re: Having issues with VLT cutting out when hitting boost
Can you please post your log and current tune file? With just the 550CC injectors, it will adjust the TP Max Load table to have 255 at the top end, but should not affect TP Load scale table It should also only adjust total injection multiplier. I'd be interested to see the MAF voltage in the log file

Re: ka24det First Time Tuning /Issues
After doing both, we end up with K constant around 37,330 which is not too far from where you started So the load scales should not really need adjusting. It won't be until you go into boost and see how far your trace cursor goes if you need to adjust K further (so the trace cursor stays in the scal...

Re: ka24det First Time Tuning /Issues
Hey Caleb It seems a bit confusing but if only adjusting injectors, then only TIM needs changing However if adjusting MAF and injectors, then Nistune will direct you do adjust the MAF firstly (increasing K) and then injectors (dropping K back near factory levels) With the S13 KA24DE the K constant i...

Re: RB30 GTR MAF
Yes you can run the sensor. It should work upto about 240rwkw in 3" tube, but will need
(a) Rewiring to use just 12V, GND and sensor line
(b) Remove Pin 14 of the OPAMP (Type 1 manual)
(c) Resize RB30 MAF to R35 MAF and then retune for this

No that is not possible, due to using the switch for the same input and the conditions. So either one or the other!

Compare your 'User Mode' under File > Configuration > Misc Settings
Expert > Intermediate > Standard
Expert one will display more maps than the rest. I suspect you may have different setups
