ECU JA18-L39 BV8 will work with a type 4 board

Post by Payu »

Visually seems like it will work with the type B adapter but I need to know for sure before installing the board...
Also if I use the board on program mode I just need to upload a Image file before trying to start the car???
Thanks

Sorry cant find that part number. What ecu is it for?

Can you download the ROM image and tell me the Nissan part# displayed inside Nistune when you connect to it?

It will need a new ENT file created for the board and programmed with a Base Image Programmer

I got it working today dont know if its working %100 but what I did was I knew this was a B14 but the part number didnt showed up anywhere so I ordered the board for a 95 B14 ECU part number I installed the board and installed on a 95 b14 with a know good bin and once i establish communication with the ecu I was able to view the map with a 1995 b14 adr file so I entered the bin I got for the setup running on the car and copy all the parameters on the list on the board and got the car running close to were it was with the other chipped ECU so it works at least.....
