New Download/Upload Image Buttons
Matt,
Here are the buttons I said I would draw up for the image upload/download pop-up window.
90x84
I think they're actually self explanitory now, so the function does not need to be printed on the button. Here we have "send from PC" indicated by the red arrow, signifying to "burn" the image.
and then we have the "download from ecu" indicated by the green arrow, commonly associated with downloadable files.
side by side, they look legit.

if you need any more buttons, graphics, etc., Matt... let me know any specifications!
(yes, I realize my fuel map needs a bit of tuning in that laptop graphic )
Re: New Download/Upload Image Buttons
this has been added in tonight. i've also added a check that if all maps are blank then no upload to ECU will be required - to stop silly mistakes
Re: New Download/Upload Image Buttons
nice Images, less thought involved now!!
I did like the fast and furious old style though

Re: New Download/Upload Image Buttons
decided to make a program icon. use it if you like.
but you might need to resave as an ICO file in photoshop.

Re: New Download/Upload Image Buttons
When you say "added in tonight" are you referring to a nightly downloadable build, or are you replacing the latest version of the software but not incrementing the software version number due to the tiny change?Matt wrote:this has been added in tonight. i've also added a check that if all maps are blank then no upload to ECU will be required - to stop silly mistakes
Re: New Download/Upload Image Buttons
it has been added in the code, but because there are many other changes to the current build and it needs to be tested, it will not be available for download until it has gone through testing
Re: New Download/Upload Image Buttons
gotcha. glad to see you keep a tight CVS to avoid software "f-ups"Matt wrote:it has been added in the code, but because there are many other changes to the current build and it needs to be tested, it will not be available for download until it has gone through testing
Re: New Download/Upload Image Buttons
sometimes they still manage to slip through which was why 0.9.14.7 got pulled down
I'm using TortoiseSVN (Subversion) for Nistune which seems to do the job, but previously have liked using Clearcase (rcs on steroids) and currently work with CMSynergy (Telelogic... its okay but dont really like it)

Re: New Download/Upload Image Buttons
TortoiseSVN requires the use of another software package to make it work?
Any other images you'd like changed? Post a screenshot and a dimension and I'll cast some magical spells.

Re: New Download/Upload Image Buttons
TortoiseSVN is a windows interface for Subversion which is the main software
The problem I have with it is with its windows explorer integration causing system slowness due to the amount of data which is stored in the Nistune subdirectories is probably causing this (you would be suprised... schematics, pcb layouts, xilinx drawings take heaps and then firmware, software, bin files etc)
