How can I export the VQ maps for the Z32 MAF and the Ford Lightning MAF?

Thanks!

Two methods...

Grab the BIN file in the VQ maps folder

(or)

Select All (CTRL-A) on the map and then Edit-Copy

How do I view the VQ map within Nistune? Is the Hot Wire Inhalation Voltage Quantifier on page 8 of http://www.nistune.com/docs/NIStune_Mapping_Guide.pdf ?

Thanks

Thanks!

So when using a slot type blow-through MAF, do I adjust the k value according to what pipe size the MAF is installed in?

Since Nistune supports the lightning MAF, I am thinking about using a device to combine two MAF outputs into one input for the ECU on my 300ZX TT, and then tweaking the k value to account for the pipe size until my AFR is correct.

not sure on that one.... with the MAF inserts you can get, the calibration curve is altered based on tube size. So not just the injecition multiplier in that case

See attached for HPX insert calculator to see what I mean

Any idea how I convert the "Flow" column in the spreadsheet to the appropriate value for the VQ map? I'm not sure what the units of measurement are in the HPX tool vs the VQ maps in Nistune.

Thanks!

Thats a tough one. I took the HPX values and spread them out to 64 values (filling in every second point as average of the two points around it).

Afterwards then rescale that between 0 - 65535 and that provides the VQ map. Gets tricky. Do you have a list of figures that you can rescale available?
