Boost control through the standard CA18DET ECU
I have looked through a number of threds for informationon about controlling the boost control solenoid valve through the use of the standard ECU. Unfortunately haven't found the information.
I notice pin 5 appears to be the output to the Boost control solenoid valve however does anyone know the control address table for the output.
Also has anyone looked at the output to see if it is a PPM type signal or just one/off.
I am in the process of deciding on a new boost controller however would prefer to control it from the Std ECU. It appears it has the ability but just can't find the information.
Any ideas, I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Re: CA18DET ECU Boost control
I'm yet to see it done with a CA18DET...
all I've seen is with an "external" manual/electronica boost controller...
the Gizzmo ones seem to be pretty good for the money, but there are others available.

The earlier ECUs just have a boost safety cut (on/off) and there are no tables or anything like this for it. You would need to use an aftermarket boost controller
