tps idle trigger voltage?

Post by sssbassil »

on a hcr32 rb20det 11u00 mt under injection control there is table called tps idle trigger voltage
and its set at 5100mv(maxed out) i have looked at allmost all rb20 and they all the same

is this used to tell the ecu when to start idleing?

the issue is that when u pull up and stop fast or slow, the car trys to stall and u have to put ur foot on the gas to keep it alive

tps is set at .44 and the tps idle box is red when its idleing

so dose this have enything to do with the tps idle trigger voltage?

this is the first type 2 i have done so eny help is good

TPS trigger voltage is only used for RB20 ECUs running RB25DET engines without the TPS switch. Its the voltage to simulate the TPS switch trigger with a special firmware release

It is not used for regular RB20s. What you may find is when you stop after accelerating is there is a AFM voltage spike which then causes injection to spike and then overfuel on decel which then can cause idle. Recording a log file in stream mode will tell you for sure

If this is the case make sure you are using a BOV pointed towards the turbo (away from the AFM)
