Re: Another tuning issue
MAF position -if it's straight pipe to turbo problem is 90% there , post a picture.
When that is problem You can see that ecu is reading on center of map when You release gas pedal ...

Re: Another tuning issue
We start to having problems with this setup(GT3076 Twinscrool) after change OEM intake manifold to aftermarket
and finally come up with this and car is working perfect
Also have similar setup on another customer car(T3 top mount turbo) which did have similar problem.
Do some testing with inserting another bend before MAF to see if problem will disappear ...

After 3 weeks of messing this, not 3 hours after you posted this my problem was solve. +1000 for you sir, you just save me a ton of money of hours. One more question thought, where did you get your intake pipse? To test it I used a plastic one, but I want a more permanent setup like yours.

Re: Another tuning issue
It's custom made BTW guy which made it for us recently moved to live in Australa
Re: Another tuning issue
If the Piping changes improves the fault then a factory airbox may eliminate it also.
Re: Another tuning issue
i run a 3076, straight pipe would cause issues.
Installing a 45deg reducer helped and increased distance from turbo to MAF.
Your other option is to use a SAFC2 and use its DEC Air function to set minimium fuelling when the throttle is take off

Were you not able to get the fuel cut tables to work as needed?s200rat wrote:i run a 3076, straight pipe would cause issues.

??? not to do with fuel cut tablesbachig24u wrote:Were you not able to get the fuel cut tables to work as needed?
A SAFC can be used if your having idle/dec issues with the MAF being too close to the turbo by telling the ECU a false MAF voltage when throttle position is below a set amount. The reason people get issues with MAF being too close to the turbo is incorrect air flow past the MAF (pulse/turbulence ect..) this makes the ECU think the wrong amount of air is passing it, hence wrong fuelling, hence stall.
Moving the MAF further or adding a waffle plate helps as it makes air flow past MAF laminar
