Hi matt, i am currently using a 44Fxx ECU, and you know i have been working on that damn speed limiter ... Honestly i cant do it, i dont have much time and the code has been somewhat obfuscated.
So i ended up getting a UK ECU, which has a 39F05 number. Do i have to do something with the nistune board, like a microcode update or something, or can i swap it directly from the 44F to the 39F ECU ?
thanks !
CA18DET: from 44Fxx ECU to 39Fxx ECU ?

44Fxx is EDM ECU and 39Fxx is a JDM ECU. It has some hardware differences (o2 sensor and other items) so you can try it. However if you notice any 'issues' it could be due to incompatibility and then require reprogramming to 39Fxx ECU

Are you sure the 39F is jdm ? I thought jdm ones were 36F ?
i will give it a try. thanks
i will give it a try. thanks

crap damn memory
Yes 36Fxx are JDM, 39Fxx are EDM and 44Fxx appear to be EDM also (no O2 sensor)
