AFM fault when Z32 ecu is connected - need help

Post by guricha »

Hi guys need help,
on r33 ser2 was installed nistune with Z32 ECU, yesterday everything was fine car was under control and ready for tuning, this morning when i start it car was not reeving more then 3000 RPM, i have checked with nistune and DTC is giving afm error, no voltage is coming from maf sensor, just in case i try with standard ecu and its fine car is working ok and afm is responding also, any idea for this reason ??
thanks in advanced

Check AFM pin on the ECU connector is okay and measure voltage at ECU plug. If ECU is showing 0 volts then either input converter was damaged somehow or there is a wiring problem (intermittent) going to the ECU plug. So you should use a multimeter at this plug to check the voltage

Yes Matt i think so also but if there is the problem with the wiring why is that car is running on the stock ECU ?
