I'm almost finished with my RB 240 swap and I have everything hooked up and when I go to start the car is shows a code 34 and the knock fuel map is highlighted. It also revs from almost dying to 4500 rpm and then starts chugging and then revs up again. I'm going to pull the front of the motor off this weekend and re-do the timing, but i'm not sure this is the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions or any other advice? Has this happened to anyone?

i went through my wiring again and saw some descrepencies so i fix them. Confirmed the timing belt was correct. Now there is a code 55 and no knock fuel map, but now it flashes fuel map and mmtp and mxtp. it apprears to be normal when looking at the map so i'm kinda lost. Made sure the maf was good and wiring was correct. It still wants to surge idle very high almost like idle hunting? any suggestions?

I adjusted K value and MAF. Once it takes off the fuel cut kicks in and brings it down and then back up again. I'm going to pull the whole thing apart and re-do it from scratch and see what mistakes I made
