expected battery voltage for HCR32 RB20 alternator

Post by bachig24u »

Hi All,
just wondering if anyone out there can tell me what battery voltage levels thev'e seen in their HCR32's.

the one I'm working with always seems to run on the low side of 13v and wondered if it was normal or not for them.

most cars seem to run a little on the high 13's and even low 14volts.

Any info welcomed.

My S13 CA18 always show 13.2-13.4V in nistune while the engien is runing, and my maintenance type battery works fine for over 3 years ( I know it will be die soon).

Thanks Eric,
Do you have a soft copy of the manual?

Did you check at battery???

I had a problem with low voltage on turbo timer and found out there's around 1V difference from tapping into wiring near ECU to testing voltage at battery.
