Odd changes to TTPMax table on injector resize

Post by RobH »

Hi guys.

Just trying to sort out a few minor probs. One thing I want to rule out is an odd looking change to the TTPMax table and graph when resizing the injectors from 370cc to 555cc. Please see the attached screen dump. I'm guessing that as long as the TTPMax is higher than it needs to be it's ok?? Ive included the original TTPMax from a comparison image, the one that's right off the scale is the image after injector resize.

Cheers

Thats a feature.

it really doesn't need to go over 200 but it does.

when you complete your tuning ensure to adjust this table to re add a measure of failsafe.

Yeah its going a bit too high. Its doing the same as LiveEdit (another tuning program) used to do and kind of stayed there.

Ok, thanks. I can't help noticing that the first half of the table/graph is the same before and after resize, I'm a bit confused as to why it would need to increase for the higher rpm values and not or the lower.

Do I just need to 'guess' at a suitable final value for TTPMax or is there some science to it? Are there any problems likely if I leave it as it is?? (i.e. off the scale)

Sorry if this sounds dumb, I'm still trying to understand all the parameters and this one is making little sense...

Thanks

Maximum allowed pulsewidth of the injectors in ms. See what your injection pulsewidth hits during a power run and set slightly higher than than (for example 20ms)
