maf to map conversion RB25

Post by kubus »

hi there guys.
I was just wondering today - is nistune ready for this ??

getting rid of my maf would help me out ;)

if yes - is there a guide how to ??

also adding an IAT of course.

cheers lads.

get a mapecu (http://mapecu.com) and be done with it.

the simplest MAPECU 1 works very well with the right (conversion) map and you can always revert back to AFM if you don't like it.

converting the stock ECU to run map/iat is possible woth a Z32 ECU, but means a lot of (custom) programming/work/mapping

What problems are you having using the MAF? If you have your BOV venting into the turbo correctly then you shouldnt have any issues with a MAF. We have seen many HP cars tuned successfully using Nistune and MAF sensor. As Eric mentioned there is just too much work involved to convert to MAP internally within the factory ECU

Using just MAP without EMAP will never get You smooth running like MAF. And now even ALFHA R35 with over 1200WHP use MAF without any problem, so MAF is not limiter for making power.
