VH45de bog at tip in

Post by gsracer »

Forgive my ignorance but i can't seem to get this fixed.

I have a vh45de with a supercharger in my s14 running nistune, i recently changed intake manifold and injectors. To get it to run correctly i ran it n/a and uploaded a stock map , resized injectors and / k constant and got it to idle perfect 14.7, problem is that if i go wot off idle the car will either shut of or bog and slowly raise rpm till about 1400-1500 rpm and then rocket to redline, like wise if i slowly rev till past 1500 rpm then jab the throttle its fine. this is in neutral with the car sitting still.

Is there some sort of tip in throttle menu i can't seem to find?

Thanks in advance

heres a video of the car running.

obviously in the video I'm slowly revving it at first, but if i did that immediately off idle it would bog or shut down.

i could be way off the mark here. but doesn't this sound like the "accelerator pump" setting. can't remember what it's called but it's the same idea as an accelerator pump off a carburetor setup. It's supposed to give an extra squirt of fuel to help stop the bogging when giving it hard bursts of throttle.

it turns out it was the ttpmax setting that for some reason was to low between 1000-2000 rpm. I set all the ttpmax to 255 and it fixed it. Is there any reason i shouldn't set the ttpmax fields to all 255s?

noob mistake i know, i assumed that when i resized since i had auto on the ttpmin/max settings it adjusted accordingly, with it set where it was that the reason i wasn't seeing any changes on the accel enrich changes.

Can you save your tune (BIN) file and post it here along with a log file showing the injection time, RPMs, AFRs etc when it bogs down

When it bogs, is it going lean or rich?
