FTDI have released a Windows Vista driver this month (7 July) so we can use that with our Type 1 boards. Let me set something up. I'll update the setup files and send them through

NIStune software itself has been confirmed to work with Vista (using romulator / consult on Z32)

awesome, i am kinda stuck at this point till i get a lap top since mine is dead. My buddy is the only option with Vista on it. Will you be posting the vista driver for download or adding it in the setup file of the latest software? Thanks Matt

I should have time tonight to generate a NIStune Vista driver from the FTDI ones.

I'll attach to this thread for you to try out. When confirmed working will add it to the next release installation package

I dont have vista here to test out on yet... and wasn't planning to upgrade at this stage until I can get aronud to creating a dual boot with XP on my laptop and add an extra gigabyte of RAM.

Vista is a bit of a resource hog (memory, CPU and harddrive space required is substantial) but unfortunately as I found out with buying my inlaws a new computer, it comes out on everything now and very difficult to downgrade (ie sourcing XP drivers for the newer hardware) so we have to support it

I wrote up a downgrade procedure to XP for my compaq for others to use if they ever wanted to go that way...

Anyway I'll put some time into it tonight so you can get up and running
