Anyone know someone with a jatco and pro ratchet installed? I've picked one up for my 3n71b and need the length of the lever used at the transmission. Or a good way of calculating it based on the stock lever length.

The lever is only 1.75 - 2 inches long.
When installing the proratchet you need to bolt the cable holder to the inside of the shifter base even though the outside looks more logical. not sure if thats what you are trying to fix but it enables the ratchet to lock properly on in the gears and lines up all the switches for most transmissions I've come across.

Yes I did. I made the flat bar on the trans the same lenght as the throw of the shifter.
I went back to a stock shifter. The ratchet shifter sits too high on the console and since the trans was already installed, I'd have to cut the console or remove the trans again to make it fit the way I wanted it to. Next time the trans is out I'll install it with a box in the trans tunnel to lower the shifter to the desired location.
