RB25 Series 2 with Z32 ecu

Post by 95_240 »

Just received my type 2 board and got it installed. I have been having problems with my motor since I first started it up. It is a RB25 series 2, greddy style intake manifold, q45 throttle body, and everything else is pretty much stock. Even with the stock ecu I was having these problems. I'm using the z32 ecu with rb25 maf and the r33 rb25 maf setting. When it is running ok the idle is at 1400 rpms, maf voltage is about 1.5, tps is .45, injection time is 2.5 ms, and my vacuum is at 20Hg. The afr reading fluctuates from 14.5 to 15.5. After i rev the engine a few times the afrs read 10. The idle fluctuates between 500-800, the maf reads 2.5 volts, tps remains the same, and the injection time jumps up to 7.5 ms. The vacuum also drops to 10Hg. The timing increases to about 35 BTDC when I rev the engine and when it drops back to idle the reading is between 5-10 BTDC. I'm new to tuning because no one around me is willing to tune Nistune. I'm sure I will be happy with the base map for now I'm just wondering if some of these logs can help diagnose the problem. If there is logs with different parameters I should use let me know. This was done with the car not moving just revving the engine.

Thanks

If you are a series 2 then you actually have the ER34 MAF (not the ECR33 used on the S1 models)

Change the MAF inside Operations > Change MAF to the ER34 and that should get the car running better
