it looks similar. i've added it to my enhancements list and when i get a few spare hours have to write up a simulator for it and put in the software. it didn't take long with the AEM unit to do since i have three wideband units already supported

i'm going to have to add more inputs to the software eventually... since some of these units have lots of auxillary inputs
the serial interface document i just printed out. looks fairly simple to implement which is good.
probably start this next week

Apparently the serial interface is on the "R" series only.. not all PLX wideband units have it (some only have analogue outputs)

I have a PLX M500 which has datalogging over usb (with its own serial converter) This is now a discontinued product as you rightly said now their R series does it.

Umm your kind of stuck there. Either get some A/D serial converter or get another WB monitor with the serial port already on it
