VEMS support problem?? (10.21)

Post by iceblade »

Hi guys ive just installed build 0.10.21 and before nistune loads im getting an error message saying

" Unable to look up table 7
C:...........documents/nistune/wideband/vems/aux4.csv
Unable to look up table 8
C:...........documents/nistune/wideband/vems/aux5.csv
Unable to look up table 9
C:...........documents/nistune/wideband/vems/aux6.csv "

havent been able to test the vems unit yet as my car is off the road at the moment but nistune itself appears to be working fine...

just wondered if ive broken something as ive never seen this before and regularly use my and friends vems units with nistune

anyone else getting similar??

thanks in advance
Joe

I hadn't seen this during my testing but can confirm Aux4-Aux6 don't need lookup tables. I set a flag for which ones do require this but these entries have nothing defined. I've updated to code to set all these to false

For now just copy Aux4-Aux6 from another folder to this one to avoid the errors

VEMS needs some more work anyway, apparently there are about six different versions of protocol spread over 20 different versions of firmware!

So firmware identifiers need to be determined and protocol read accordingly. Currently we only support two versions. Been waiting for a response from VEMS in regards to querying the other versions but nothing back yet

The errors shouldnt affect reading from the units btw.
