Hi all,
Just installed the new version of nistune and also installed a map sensor MPX4250gp to monior my boost through the dlp.
I have been successfully using it to log AFR ratios. However now when i connect the DLP connects for a brief second then drops out.
Im not sure if this is related to nistune? I thought it may have been an issue with the map sensor i just installed. Removed these and all the other wires from the DLP and still the same issue.
Connects for a brief second and then fails.
Anyone able to shed any light on this? This is really anouying now i can no longer log
Dlp connection issue

Re: Dlp connection issue
Which version? I've tested both the release and 0.11 versions with DLP
Wont be a problem with your boost sensor. Not a problem with Nistune either from what it appears.
Please grab a debug log of the connection issue and post here. Make sure you have DLP converter selected and correct COM port from the drop list in File > Configuration

Re: Dlp connection issue
Your log is massive since you connected to consult during the logging session (only needed to connect to the DLP device!)
Anyway after looking through your DLP device basically looks dead
Assuming COM4 is your correct COM port for this device?
We send it a 0x27h initialisation request to that COM port but it does not respond back with anything. The FTDI chip on the DLP is working okay but the other A/D chip appears not to be responding
You can also try the test application on the DLP website

I tried this with 0.11 on the weekend and DLP is still fine with Nistune
